The House of Nine Corvids is a neo-gothic historical novel presenting Mary, the mute child of a cook in a stately home. It explores the reframing of traditional misery memoirs in a fictional format, where we witness the shadow narratives Mary encounters through interactions with witches, ghosts, trauma and abuse, and the supranatural.
Elements of which are based on Nix's traumatic childhood.
